Where Are The Journals?

  • Journals subscribed to by the University Libraries can be available on the internet, in paper, or on microfilm or microfiche in Bizzell Library or in any of the branch libraries.
  • Once you have located a reference to a journal article, do a periodical (journal, magazine, or newspaper) title search in the catalog to see if the library owns the journal.

Shortcuts - OU Link to Article

  • Many databases have a feature called "OU Link to Article." Use this function when you are in a database and quickly need to know if the library owns a journal.

Shortcuts - E-Journals Link On Homepage

  • If you know or suspect that a journal is available online, go to the library's homepage, click on "E-Journals" in the center of the screen, and type in the name of the journal.
