Each issue of CQ Magazine (was CQ Weekly until 2015) looks forward and back. The online edition, which is archived back to 1983, includes in-depth reports on issues looming on the congressional horizon and a complete wrap up of the previous week’s news, including the status of bills in play, behind-the-scenes maneuvering, committee and floor activity, debates and all roll-call votes.
CQ Magazine is written in plain English. This makes it easy for people “outside the beltway” to understand complex legislation - and its ramifications - just as well as any Washington insider.
