Restrooms can be found on every level of the Bizzell Library (with the exception of the Great Reading Room level).
Many doors to restrooms are heavy and swing shut, and thus you may need to call Circulation for assistance at (405) 325-3341. Individual stall doors are lighter. We note lighter doors in the tabs here.
A single-occupancy family/gender-neutral bathroom (Room 100B) is located on the main level of the Bizzell near the Boorstin Collection. These single-occupancy rooms have light swinging doors that are accessible.
Note: The 1958 section women's and men's restroom on floor 2 has a toilet with a shower curtain door instead of a swing-door stall.
The restrooms on the 3rd floor west side are more modern than those in the 1958 edition. Each restroom on the west side contains at least one handicap stall.
The restrooms on the 4th floor west side are more modern than those in the 1958 edition. Each restroom on the west side contains at least one handicap stall.
The fifth floor is open only during History of Science Collection Hours, which are limited relative to Bizzell's opening hours.
One family restroom (526)
Lower Level 1 has two family restrooms, one each by men's and women's restrooms. These are located just west of The Bookmark Cafe and the west stairwell and elevators. The east wing has men's and women's restrooms near the northeast stairwell.
Lower Level 2 has two family restrooms, one each by men's and women's restrooms (LL2012, LL2052). These are located in the public, non-card-access sections of Lower Level 2 and they have light swinging doors that are accessible.
All women's and family/gender neutral restrooms contain changing tables but none of the men's restrooms do. Family/gender neutral bathrooms can be found on the following floors:
