    • There is not much traditional legislative history surrounding the FAA because much of the development of the bill that became the FAA occurred through organizations outside of Congress. As a result, to understand the FAA at a deeper level, this article examines the broader history and context surrounding the FAA’s enactment (available at Missouri Law Library).

    • This report, prepared for members and committees of Congress, provides a brief legislative history of the FAA, as well as a review of selected cases that have interpreted the FAA. The report also discusses bills introduced during the 108th Congress that would amend the FAA to address the use of arbitration to resolve employment and specific contract disputes (available at UNT Digital Library).
