Statista - the basics

The easiest way to limit a search is by content type.  Statista has 8 over all types of content:

• Statistics 
  • Landing pages for Statistic are primarily graphs and charts from repots.
  • Links back to the repots are provided.
  • Individual charts and graphs can be downloaded.
  • Chart/graph type can be changed - bar graph, line graph or table
• Reports 
  • Statista report  can be industry, topical, market insight or consumer insights
  • Reports available for a given search results will depend on the search term - concept, product or industry
  • Please keep in mind not all repots or data are available to us - this is primarily due to our licensing as an academic institution. 
• Topics
  • What is available on the Topics landing page will depend on the initial search terms - concept, product or industry 
  • The landing page results will directly reflect the search terms
    • for example for the search on Esports, topics covered are Market over view, Tournaments and games, Teams & players, eSports attitudes, Streaming and Mobile eSports
  • Links are provided to reports
• Insights  - Market, Consumer and eCommerce
  • Insight reports provided a deeper dive as well links out to other reports and data 
• Forcastes

Forecast reports provide statistical analysts forecast trends with expert opinions

Another very simple way to limit or filter a search is by Industry. Select an industry  - it is possible to select several industries or industry sectors.
