
Professor Chauvin was a counsel in the Liberty and National Security Program at the Brennan Center for Justice and an attorney-advisor in the Intelligence Law Division of the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Professor Chauvin received his BA in English literature and biology from SUNY Geneseo, and his JD from William & Mary Law School. After graduating from law school, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas C. Wheeler of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the Honorable Karen Spencer Marston of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
