CESL Requirements for OU Track students
Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) at the University of Oklahoma allows qualified students to quickly improve their language skills in order to meet the requirements to attend the University of Oklahoma. OU Track is completed in only one semester (two consecutive sessions) at CESL. This center also empowers students to communicate successfully in social, academic, and professional settings.
The OU Writing Center's "Multilingual Writers" Services
The OU Writing Center is a university-wide program that enriches learning, teaching, and research through engagement with writing. The writing center assists students and faculty across the campus with all types of writing projects at any stage in the writing process.
- Advanced Communication Skills Syllabus for International StudentsThis free, non-credit course is taught by Jessica Reynolds, director of OU's English Training and Certification Services. The course is designed to develop participants' English communicative competence. The process for enrollment involves filling out a registration survey of students' availability. The course meets only for the first ten weeks of the semester. It is open only to international students.
