Welcome Law Students
This guide will help you find study aids that are available to law students. Guides range from explaining the law, or understanding particular cases or concepts, to providing explanations and examples that might help for class or for your final exam. Popular series of study aids include Nutshells (West Academic), Examples & Explanations (Aspen), and Questions and Answers (Lexis).
The library subscribes to the following online study aids:
- Aspen Learning Library
- Lexis Digital Library
- West Academic
- Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI)
The services give you online access to study aids on-campus and off-campus. You will need to create an account to highlight text or view offline.
For West Academic Study Aids you will need to use your OU 4x4 off-campus after you click on the link in the guide. If you have trouble accessing any services, please contact a librarian.
If you wish to use a print version of a study aid, you can ask the attendant at the Circulation Desk to get the book for you from the Law Reserve Room. See the Getting Help & Library Maps page on the Beginner's Guide for more information about the library.
