Using OU Libraries After Graduation

Any alumnus of the University can purchase an Alumni Association Membership card for a variable annual membership fee at the Alumni Office, which allows book checkout privileges. 

Present your alumnus card and a photo ID at the main circulation desk at Bizzell Memorial Library, and you will be allowed to borrow up to 30 books for 30 days, with 5 renewals. Your card is good for one year unless you have purchased a life-time membership, and you are subject to the same fines as undergraduates.

Due to licensing issues, we can not provide off-campus access to databases (including ebooks) to anyone without an OUNetID, but you may apply for a guest login to use these resources in the library building. To obtain a guest login, visit the Computer Lab near the west entrance on the main floor of Bizzell Memorial Library or a service desk in one of our branch libraries. Temporary guest logins remain valid for two hours.
