Introduction

A treatise is a scholarly publication that focuses in depth on a particular area of law.  Treatises are an excellent starting point for legal research, especially in an unfamiliar area of law.  Although a treatise is secondary authority, it can often help you find important primary source material. Listed are selected major treatises linked out directly to online resources available to University of Oklahoma College of Law faculty and students, or available in print in the Library.

The library also subscribes to several Study Aids: Lexis Study Aids and West Academic Study Aids and Aspen Learning Library and Quimbee. If you need help accessing the Study Aids, please contact a librarian.
