Scholarly/peer reviewed articles
The following databases provide full text access to journals that are scholarly in nature or peer reviewed. Scholarly or peer review is an academic term for quality control. Each article published in a peer-reviewed journal was closely examined by a panel of reviewers who are experts on the article's topic (that is, the author's professional peers… hence the term peer review). Within the academic community, peer review has become an essential component of the academic writing process. It helps ensure that papers published in academic journals answer meaningful research questions and draw accurate conclusions based on professionally executed experimentation.
