A guide for conducting research on English-language literature from the UK, the US, and other anglophone countries.

Time Traveler

Time Traveler is a fun tool from Merriam-Webster that lets you enter a year and see words that were first found in print in that year. Select your birth year and see what vocabulary came about around the same time that you did! Clicking a word or phrase shows you its definition and usage.
