Where Are The Journals?

Three ways to figure out if the library has the journal you're looking for.

Using the Local Catalog to See if the Library has a Journal

  • Search for the journal (NOT article) title in the Local Catalog, like in the example below. 
  • If you have trouble, call the Research Help Desk at 405-325-4142 or AskUs.

 

When you search for a journal title like this:

 

 

You will get a screen like this:

And if you click "Online access" you'll see something like in this screenshot:

  • Every database is different, but the next screen will probably allow you to choose the year you need.
  • If the issues aren't listed on that page, look for words like "archive" or "issues" or "back issues" to get to the year you need.
