The University of Oklahoma libraries subscribes to a number of databases that provide detailed company information.  Two databases of note are Mergent Online and ABI/Inform (ProQuest).  Using the company name or ticker symbol, researchers can retrieve comprehensive financial, company, and senior management profile information.

Mergent Online provides information on public and a select number of private companies.  The data may be exported as an Excel file.  

ABI/Inform provides company reports, industry reports, SWOT analyses along with company news and other information.
