Whether you are working with text, images, numbers, or sound, there are a variety of digital tools out there that can help you make sense of your data. Some questions to ask when picking such a tool: what questions do I have about my data? How can one of these digital tools help to answer this question? Once you have processed and analyzed your data, you may want to visualize that data in order to communicate your findings. What would a visualization add to a scholarly discussion that a report of the findings wouldn't? Is the visualization I am going to create accessible by all?
