AVON

Academic Video Online (AVON) is a multidisciplinary streaming video service from Alexander Street Press. Featured partners include the BBC, PBS, Bloomberg, and Videofashion, among others. Some of the types of content types are documentaries, newsreels, instructional films, and interviews. All of the usual ASP features are available: the ability to make clips and embed content, view simultaneous transcripts, send to mobile, and cross-search with several ASP products. NOTE:  Effective January 1, 2021 AVON video access is mediated. This means that any video not licensed for use prior to that date will require the user to request access. Access is being enabled for class use with instructor approval.
