American History in Video

American History in Video provides access to commercial and governmental newsreels, archival footage, public affairs footage, and important documentaries related to American history. The collection can be browsed by Title, Newsreel Timeline, People, Places Discussed, Historical Events, Publishers, and Content Types. The entire collection can be searched. Some videos are divided into tracks, allowing viewers to easily skip to sections. Closed captioning is available, and searchable transcripts are provided for each video. Some also include supplemental materials.

Ethnographic Video Online provides access to videos covering every region of the world and including interviews, previously unreleased raw footage, field notes, and study guides related to the study of human culture and behavior. Browse by Titles, Authors/Ethnographer, Cultural Groups, Places Discussed, Subjects, Dates, People Discussed, or Publishers/Archives. View simultaneous transcripts or closed captioning. Some videos have Related Documents such as study guides.
