The company information is derived from several sources: the company annual report, newspapers, and Reuters to a name a few. 

Factiva can be accessed a couple of ways.  Starting at libraries.ou.edu, login with your 4X4.  After logging in:

1. Click on Databases and E-Reference located in the middle of the page under Quick links. On the next page click on the letter F - Factiva will be the second entry in the page.

2. After logging in to the Libraries webpage open a new box to http://guides.ou.edu/businessdatabases.  Scroll down to Factiva

Once in Factiva, the default search form is for company information.  By clicking on Quotes you can access the latest stock quotes for your company, along with historical data for the past two years.  Charting allows you to chart up to ten companies on the same chart.  Both Quotes and Charting provide interactive graphs linking the chart to news article.

Company Search:

In the Company search form you can search by Smart Lookup, Company Name, Ticker Symbol, Duns or Registration ID.

The first page is the Company snapshot page. Here you will find basic data: contact info, stock activity, company description, key facts – executives and financial, competitors, and the most recent new articles.

From the left tool bar you can view the latest five years of Financial data by clicking on Financial Results.

Using Reports located on the left tool bar you can create custom financial reports, view/print a Detailed Company Profile Report, view/print a Financial Health report or view/print a Ratio Comparison Report.
