This study investigates the relationship between AI tool usage and critical thinking skills, focusing on cognitive offloading as a mediating factor.

Generative AI (GenAI) is advancing rapidly, and the literature in
computing education is expanding almost as quickly. Initial re-
sponses to GenAI tools were mixed between panic and utopian
optimism.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has many applications in various aspects of our daily life, including health, criminal, education, civil, business, and liability law. One aspect of AI that has gained significant attention is natural language processing (NLP), which refers to the ability of computers to understand and generate human language.

Academic writing is an essential component of research, characterized by structured expression of ideas, data-driven arguments, and logical reasoning. However, it poses challenges such as handling vast amounts of information and complex ideas. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into academic writing has become increasingly important, offering solutions to these challenges. This review aims to explore specific domains where AI significantly supports academic writing.
