Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Your Guide to OU Libraries! If you've never used a college library before (or maybe even if you have), it can be overwhelming to know where to start with research or getting assistance - there's just so much available. This guide is meant to introduce you to some of our resources & services and make them easy to find. Each resource is briefly explained, with a link to the relevant webpage. You'll be using the library like a pro in no time!

Some quick things to know before you begin:

• OU has more than one library. Bizzell is the main library for the Norman campus, but there are other locations that specialize in particular topics. 
• You don't need a library card - as a student you automatically have an account. You'll use your OU student ID to access printed resources or your OUNetID (4x4) to access online resources, such as eBooks or reservable study rooms.
• We are here to help YOU. Whether you are starting your first English 1113 paper or researching your dissertation, we want you to reach out to us if you have questions or run into roadblocks! You can contact us on our Ask Us! page, or visit us in person.
