Accessibility and Sensory Guide to Bizzell Memorial Library

Assistive Technology Computer
The Computer Lab in Bizzell Memorial Library features an assistive technology computer. The computer includes

- ZoomText software and keyboard, which allows for screen magnification and visual enhancements for low-vision users
- both JAWS and NVDA screen reader software for people who are blind or have low vision.

OCR scans

For patrons wishing to utilize OCR (optical character recognition) technology for digitized documents contact the OU ADRC Resources page for assistance.

Whiteboards and Markers

Public whiteboards are available throughout the Bizzell Library.

Mobile whiteboards can be found throughout the library.
Stationary whiteboards are available in the Learning Lab and the Helmerich Collaborative Learning Center.
Patrons may borrow markers from the west Circulation Desk on the main level.

Screens at desks

Most multi-person rooms in lower level 2 have LCD screens.
Most single-person study rooms do not have screens.

Consultations space 121 studios A-C have screens with HDMI cables.
- Only available for reservations to graduate students, staff, and faculty
Reserve study rooms containing display monitors.
- Filter by your status, room type, and then click "Refine results" and toggle "Display" to get rooms that come with monitors.

In addition to the main computers, the Loveridge Computer Lab features "landing desks" with 32" LCD monitors with keyboard and mouse.
- Bring your own computer or a borrowed laptop from the kiosk
- Along the north wall of the lab
- Screen connectors available are USB-C and HDMI
- Keyboard and mouse connectors are USB

In 2nd floor east wing, there are two desks with monitors available for public use.
- These have VGA connectors and are rarely tested.
