Building Policies

Food Deliveries within Bizzell

Food delivery-people are not allowed to freely come into Bizzell to make deliveries. It is also against building policy to order deliveries to locations inside the library.

  • Delivery-people are expected to remain behind the security gates or stay outside and wait for the patron who ordered the food to come to them.
  • Do not help find a patron if the delivery-person cannot contact them. (There are security and privacy reasons for several of these rules)
  • If there is no Security guard at the desk when a delivery-person tries to walk past the gates, it is your responsibility to ask them to stop and tell them the policy.
  • If the delivery-person or the patron insists on an explanation, you can radio a Security guard for assistance, since this is an issue regarding building policy and the guards report to the Facilities Manager at Bizzell.
